Life is gonna screw you - but will you let it win?

No matter who you are, no matter where you're born, no matter what you do........... life is going to screw you hard. That is a fact, if it didn't happen for you, just give it time, it will. Some may call it midlife crisis, some may call it hard childhood......... life is going to hit you hard, but will you let it win? We'll think that there wouldn't be problems a million dollars can't solve. I'm pretty sure there are a set of problems that haunt millionaires around the world, and we'll have the problems that our life choices or state of our life brings. Be anything the case, people will be having problems with their lives. The answer some people choose - suicide! Let me tell you a little back story. And why I'm writing this. I'm a upsc aspirant ( 2018). My dream job is to be an IAS, I don't know I'll make it. But to me, and people around me think that once I get this job, it's done. The end credits will roll. ( Names you can ...

Indoctrination - Why religions still exist

Indoctrination - Why religions still exist Adult life is when you start to experience freedom. Freedom of nearly everything. Freedom to purchase the things you wanted as a kid, but couldn't because your parents said no. Freedom to consume alcohol without them knowing, Freedom to go with out with others. Freedom to manage your expenses and use them however you want, Freedom to try all those things you wanted to, but couldn't only because your parents prohibited to, Freedom to think without your parents thoughts effecting you......... freedom of nearly everything. Except your beliefs............ People never question things that were taught to them in their childhood. If you were told as a child that Santa Claus exists, do you still believe him when you're nearly 30? So why don't you stop and think about what your religion says and how much of it is true and how much of it fairy tales spun around some little known events. In everyday news events, you...

India - Moving Forward!!

Love it or hate it, we are born in India and the average Indian is likely to die in India, without going out of the country, even on a trip. 2014-2018 is a rollercoaster ride for us. On one hand, we felt the shame of the gaurakshaks and the mob killings happened throughout the country, some because of religious beliefs and some just because of hoax spread through social media networks. On the other we felt proud of the executive ( govt) for taking India out to the world and making it's say matter in the world politics. And mainly of our judiciary, when they gave justice to Hadiya, and that decision leading to the reform of article 377 - simply put, homosexuality isn't a crime anymore in our country. 2019 is going to be election year, In Utopia , you could have a government that has full transparency, ethic, morals, caters to all and every section of the people and has no corruption. We are far from it,  I hope atleast we don't get to see the religious clashes, the k...

Is god "Worthy" of your praises?

Who is a God? Why is he different from us? Is he special? Does he posses any Powers? That humans are not capable of? Why do we need to praise him? Why are there so many Gods and so many religions? I'm not arguing about the existence of God ( that, I'll do in another rant) I'm just wondering whether he is Worthy of the praises he gets . When I was a kid, I was taught that God is all powerful, has control over everything, guides and protects everyone, and most importantly I was told many many times that God is good. People even named some qualities ( or Powers) of God. They say he's - Omnipresent - present everywhere - Omnipotent - he can do anything - Omniscient- he knows everything And he created the universe and everything in it, so we have to worship him. But when it comes to reality, you doubt how much of this is true. Let's check them one by one - Omnipresent He is everywhere. He is with you when you think about committing...
